Ngwengu Sharon is a SRHR peer educator, and a Peace and Equality Ambassador concerned with the sexual and reproductive health rights of young women especially within conflict affected area like her region of origin- Northwest region. As a champion for the fight against violent extremism and hate speech under US Embassy Yaounde’s Youth for Peace initiative, she has carried out Advocacy campaigns as well as participated in several feminist actions on the rights of young people. Sharon adheres to the philosophy of young people not being victims of any form of violence but key stakeholders in driving and sustaining peace. She is a Master at law and has designed Campaigns to educate community members on the dangers of child trafficking, especially to the children and the community. She believes that every child needs to grow up in a safe environment to be able to attain their full potentials.
