In a historic and powerful event, we came together with MINPROFF and other dedicated organizations to launch a united front against Gender-Based Violence (GBV). This moment marked a significant step in our collective efforts to create a world where every individual is free from violence, discrimination, and fear. By joining forces, we are ensuring that the message is loud and clear: we stand together for a safer, more equitable future for all.

Our journey towards this historic launch culminated in a march alongside passionate advocates and committed organizations. With every step, we amplified our collective call for an end to GBV. The streets echoed with the voices of individuals determined to raise awareness about the pressing need for collaboration and action to eliminate gender-based violence. It was a visual and vocal reminder that when we come together, we can create meaningful change.
As we marched, we carried the message of solidarity, empowerment, and hope for those who have been affected by GBV. It was a show of strength and unity as we called for an end to violence, demanding that survivors be supported and perpetrators held accountable. The energy was contagious, and the atmosphere was filled with a sense of determination and urgency. We are committed to ensuring that our efforts continue beyond the march, with tangible actions and ongoing advocacy.
This launch is part of the larger movement of 16 Days of Activism against GBV, a global campaign that has united individuals, organizations, and governments in the fight against gender-based violence. However, we recognize that 16 days is just the beginning. The fight continues every day, and we remain steadfast in our mission to raise awareness, challenge harmful norms, and create a world where everyone is safe and respected.
We are reminded that no effort is too small. Each action, each voice, and each step toward change counts. Whether it’s speaking out against violence, supporting survivors, or challenging gender stereotypes, we all have a role to play in ending GBV. This movement is not just a campaign, it is a call to action for all of us to take responsibility and contribute to the collective fight for justice.

As part of this important launch, we emphasized the need to empower survivors and ensure they have the support they need to rebuild their lives. We are committed to standing with those who have been affected by GBV, offering resources, support, and a platform for their voices to be heard. Survivors deserve to feel heard, valued, and protected—and we are committed to creating a space where they can thrive.
In addition to empowering survivors, we are also focused on raising awareness in the wider community. We believe that the key to preventing GBV lies in education, advocacy, and open dialogue. By continuing to educate individuals, challenge harmful stereotypes, and break the silence around GBV, we can begin to shift societal norms and ensure that violence against women and girls becomes an issue of the past.

One of the most powerful symbols of the 16 Days of Activism is the color orange, representing a world free from violence. As part of our ongoing advocacy, we are calling on everyone to orange the world—to show solidarity with survivors and take a stand against GBV by wearing orange, sharing information, and using social media to raise awareness. Let’s make sure that the world knows we are united in this fight and that we will not rest until violence is eradicated.
